'86 GN bought new with in days of reading the Car and Driver and AutoWeek articles that came out in February of 1986.  The first one I drove was a demo and the dealer wanted $1000 above the window sticker price for it.  I guess he had read the same articles?  The next day, I found a dealer with one on order and I bought it for $500 above dealer's invoice.  Price was a bit less than $16000.00.

Currently, it has a John Craig 45 turbo, CAS V2 intercooler, 75# injectors, TRW forged pistons, ported iron heads, roller cam, MaxEffort R (mafless), 9-1 c.r., SMC Alky kit, etc.

As can be seen, the car is lowered via Eibach springs and sits about 2" lower than my son's T.

Front mounts and Texas heat are not always an ideal combination for primarily street cars and owners that like air conditioning.  A CAS three pass aluminum radiator and dual Spal fans make a tremendous difference in cooling.
