Due to the influx of newcomers to the turbo Buick world, I decided to try to put together a site that would help cope with the maintenance required to keep the cars going.  I hope it helps someone. I know it will save me a lot of time digging thru the shop manual trying to find the right section.

One thing I try to do is to save people money that might be spent on parts that are not needed, or parts that do not provide a bang for the buck spent.  This does not make me popular with certain vendors, but, frankly, I don't give the proverbial damn.  I don't sell parts and I don't shill for anyone.

The information contained within is targeted mainly at the intercooled cars.  Not because I am biased against the prior models, but, because these are the only ones I have owned.

Much of the information  is based upon the factory manual and is supplemented from experience. Ed Baker has provided a lot of information to include on trouble shooting and a bunch of useful links which I appreciate greatly. Some of my comments are merely opinion and should be treated as such.  There are many ways to do it.

Much of what I know about these cars, beyond my own hands on experience, comes from online sources.    GNTTYPE is filled with technical articles that cover a wide variety of subjects.  I go there almost every day for a refresher course.  An archive search will take you back to the beginning of the site and they contain much valuable information from those that pioneered our hobby.

If you are into learning how to program chips and/or the more technical side of our cars, two good sites that don't have any b.s. and are strictly technical, are   The TurboTweak Forums and the Full Throttle Speed Forums.  Eric Marshall and Bob Bailey are as good as it gets when it comes to knowing the electrical side of our cars inside and out.

I look in on IHADAV8.com frequently which has no vendor influence and is a great place for general B.S. and virtually no politics.  I am registered there as Strawdawg.

Some of my other automotive interests beyond the Buick world are included as well.
